How many times have you heard "if you don't ask, you don't get?" Likewise if you don't take a chance, nothing will change. It is so hard taking those steps to change something. I find it hard asking for help, I always have. I am working on it and I am finding such positive responses when I do ask. Do you know what...people actually say yes?!! It still makes me smile and allows such a good feeling to run through me. But why would I think they wouldn't help? If they are friends or even family and I know I would help them, surely they would also help me?
It is a funny one to take that chance to ask for help and make yourself vulnerable.
Being vulnerable is OK, there is no need to keep struggling on by ourselves saying we are fine.
This week don't be afraid to ask for help. Take a chance on someone else and see how it makes you feel.
