Banish the Blues 5 day Challenge

Welcome to the 5 day Challenge, to feel happier during lockdown.  Each school holiday there is a challenge set for you to get involved with.  This will be explained on here and in the Facebook group.  


Join the private Facebook group here for more information, a place to share our journey, photos of our adventures, and our peace and quiet.  In this group you will find support and motivation to give yourself time, for you and your family.  

Can you Challenge your family to get outside with you for a walk, scoot, bike ride or even a horse ride at least once a day for 5 days in a row? Sounds easy? What about when it is pouring with rain?!!! This is a fun, interactive challenge that will help our mental and physical wellbeing, during lockdown and always. This isn't just about getting outdoors but about how you will find your calm, more confidence and become in control of lockdown life.

Less screen time, more outdoors time and watch the stress lessen and the productivity increase.  Sometimes it looks like a horrid day but don't stay in, you always feel better for getting out in the fresh air. I have recently been speaking to a lot of dog walkers when I have been out and this quote came from a widow in her 70's: "walking my dogs and getting outdoors twice a day has saved me". She totally believed it and was grateful everyday for her dogs who gave her the reason to get outdoors.

 You need that outdoor space and you will find you are much more productive, patient and peaceful for taking that time outside.  We will be looking at what makes you feel calm, where you can find time for you and why this is so important to make you feel more confident and in control of your lockdown life.
